NEON VS LED
One of the main difference between NEON and LED is the aesthetic and the glow.
NEON (glass)
LED (FLEX)
NEON: Pure Craftsmanship
Nothing quite matches the charming, nostalgic glow of traditional NEON. Each piece is a unique work of art, hand-bended glass from start to finish and filled with noble gases. Choosing traditional NEON ensures your piece will be the undeniable center of attention.
Interested in learning the craft? We also offer workshops!
WHAT IS LED FLEX?
LED Flex is a modern alternative to neon, featuring flexible plastic strips with LEDs on an acrylic backing. It's primarily viewed from the front, offers easy installation, and ships globally.
This technology provides a versatile and convenient lighting solution.
What drives us:
DESIGN
Craft meets concept. Every piece we make is designed with intention, handmade, sometimes with fire, and fueled by creativity. We don't just light your space, we art it.
What fuels us:
COMMITMENT
We’re fire queens on a mission — keeping the neon craft alive and passing it on. From glass to LED, we teach what each light can do and why it matters.
Where art meets people:
REAL
No mystery here. We’re real people in a real studio. Come talk, touch, and co-create your piece in person. We’re here, and we mean it.
Where it all started
New York
Charlotte landed at Brooklyn Glass and trained with the legendary David Ablon. Fire, tubes, and a spark that hasn’t stopped since.
OPENING
One big empty warehouse
No AC, lots of sweat, and way too much paint. That’s how we built our first studio in Al Quoz from scratch, with love.
PUBLIC ART
Neon in the city sky
We lit up the streets and the DIFC building with a bold art installation during Art Dubai. The city looked up. Literally.
MORE PUBLIC ART
Dubai Design Week
Bold lights, mixed media, and a whole lot of buzz. We showed up with art that reflected more than light.
Second warehouse opening
We leveled up
Moved into a bigger, brighter showroom. More space for art, workshops, and ideas that glow beyond walls.
TV
SHARK TANK UAE
Yes, we walked into the tank and brought neon with us. Wild, fun, and unforgettable.
MONUMENTAL ART
Our biggest piece yet
A monumental public installation on Bluewaters temporary, but massive. Proof that art doesn’t need a frame
Blog posts
Most of what gets sold as neon in Dubai is LED. That isn't a scandal — the problem is being sold one and told it's the other. A studio that makes all three materials explains the difference.
